What is Happiness?

I actually prefer to use the words peace, joy, or *contentment (*state of satisfaction). I sometimes feel that the word happiness has a false illusion of always being on top emotionally and in life when in fact we are all trying to finding a sense of peace and contentment regardless of what life presents with sprinkles of joy throughout.
