Life comes at you fast, doesn't it? It seems like life is testing you at every turn these days. For instance, take this post, this is my second time writing it. It didn't autosave like it normally does, and when the page refreshed I lost everything. Ughhh...and considering the topic, I can't help but think that someone thinks this is cute and is plotting against me, but it speaks to my feelings today. It was a rough one. Not physically, but emotionally. I had a day where I felt like I was spinning my wheels to get somewhere, and then when I looked up, I hadn't moved much. I'm in a place where the disappointment of my past and the lack of movement in my present has me feeling discouraged. During my prayer and meditation time, I asked myself a simple question, "What do you want to do?". Do you want to dwell on what hasn't happened? Do you want to keep reliving the hurt of things not working out the way you thought they would? Do you want to give up? Maybe you want to still see if you can revive old dreams or see if you can rebuild stagnant relationships. It's funny how if you can get quiet enough and open to whatever rises to the surface, a simple yet clear answer will present itself. It turns out that I didn't want to do any of those things. That those ideas and issues all belonged to an older version of myself, and I needed to let them go. I mean, what's the point of continuing to grieve something if you have no interest in doing anything about it? So, the answer for me was to move forward. To leave it all behind and begin anew. And even though starting over can feel like, "Again?!", it can be a beautiful thing when you give yourself permission to start over as many times as your spirit desires and needs to. It is better to start over as many times as you need to, than to stay stuck in the old that no longer serves you. Here's to the beginning of a new journey...again. "wink" - Sacred
